Andrew T. Flynn

Andrew T. Flynn (also known as “Andy”) is known for combining strong courtroom advocacy with a practical, client-centered approach, helping individuals and families navigate difficult legal issues with clarity and confidence. Andy has focused his practice on domestic relations law, including divorce, family law, and adoption matters. He also has experience in business administration matters and general civil litigation, giving him a broader perspective when advising clients.

Over the course of his career, Andy has handled cases at every level of the Illinois State Court system, including successfully arguing before the Illinois Supreme Court. This depth of litigation experience allows him to provide strategic, effective representation tailored to each client’s goals.

In 2008, Andy began his legal education at the Southern Illinois University School of Law and has made the region his home ever since. While at SIU, Andy successfully competed in mock trial competitions all over the country. Now, Andy serves as an Adjunct Professor for SIU Simmons Law School, where he has taught Family Law and leads the Mock Trial Team.

In addition to his work with Whitfield, Crosby & Flynn and SIU Simmons Law School, Andy serves as President of the Williamson County Bar Association and has held that position since 2020. Andy is also actively involved with the Illinois State Bar Association and the Franklin County Bar Association. In 2025, Andy joined the Board of Directors for Land of Lincoln Legal Aid, reflecting his commitment to access to justice and public service.

Outside the practice of law, Andy enjoys golf and spending time with family and friends.
